hahaha

People are always trying to influence others beliefs, Xavier thought as he walked around the town in its very self-righteous, activist state that it was in. There was a constant hustle and bustle of what should be done to solve this problem or how we can improve that situation. By the time Xavier reached one of his usual spots in the field by the parking lot, there was what looked to be some sort of campgrounds that had opened up. For some strange reason there was a lunatic with a megaphone hollerin' about the 'financial crisis' and the countries 'economic turmoil'. All that Xavier wanted to do was catch a quick morning nap after his rough time the previous night. "Well Shit" Xavier said and headed to get his free flu shot from the local clinic

"VACCINATIONS CEASED UNDER CITY ORDER", read the sign on the front of the clinic. Xavier did not know what to make of this and simply said, "Well Shit". The day was off to a not so pleasant start,  (as excited as he was about his flu shot), two of the very few and seldom activities that Xavier planned were not going to happen. He came to the decision to just stroll around the streets for a bit. Perhaps his friend has returned home finally.

After another unsuccessful attempt to do something Xavier left his friends empty apartment and took to the one thing that he had been looking forward to for quite awhile now. He briskly walked over to the old Roller Skating Rink for the party. Although he may have looked a tad out of place at the rink and the block party, with nearly 20 or so years on most of the people there, if one knew Xavier they would easily be able to tell he belonged as he grooved to the music of Deadmau5 and even a little Excision. Since Ray's Liquor was conveniently across the street, Xavier went and bought himself a little something to drink, to keep him warm of course.

On the stumbling path home, Xavier passed several homes that seemed to be abandoned. The lights in one of the houses were constantly turning on and off. There seemed to be figures moving around inside. There was a ton of stuff on the curb. Everything from an old white couch with a very dark stain on it, to some left over ham or turkey, maybe it was chicken. Well it was some kind of meat anyhow. There was a scream from inside the house and Xavier rushed towards the door. He gave it a solid knock and it swung open to reveal nothing. The house was completely barren. The lights didn't even work and there were definitely not any people inside. "That's strange", Xavier thought as he walked back to get one of the coach cushions to sleep on for the night as he thought himself not fit for the walk home if he happens to be hallucinating like that.
