yep...

Xavier gives the door a hard pull as he turns the key. He looks at the crooked 19 in great satisfaction as it hangs on the door of his temporary apartment. The apartment was on 'loan' from a friend who was kind enough to let Xavier use it while he was out of town. This kept him off the unforgiving streets for at least a week. That being however, Xavier found comfort in the streets and still spent most of his time there. Xavier headed over towards the lake to admire the silents beauty of the rippling water. On his way he passes the theater, which currently is playing host to a modernized version of Oedipus Rex. The posters read something Xavier discovered to be rather profound, "What will come will come. Even if I shroud it all in silence". Xavier contemplated this as he casually strolled along his way. He had always lived his life as best as was easy and wondered if he lost what he might have had due to ignorance or if what happens happens.

There are many people about at the park. A couple near the water having a picnic. "How cliche" Xavier thought as he envied the two young lovers. A family is playing soccer, just kicking it around. They looked more cheerful than anyone Xavier had seen in a long time. There is a man lying beneath the shade of one of the trees listening to music, of what sort Xavier can only imagine. There is a nice breeze causing the water on the lake to glimmer peacefully in the warm sun. Xavier sits and reflects on many things concerning his plans for the afternoon and the plans he had for his life that have now seemingly faltered.

Around 9 or maybe even 10, Xavier head over to the Waffle joint where he can always count on a hot cup of coffee free of charge. He strolled in to the place to the mellow sounds of R.E.M. whose song fit Xavier's somber mood of the day so far. He gets a cup of coffee and a chocolate chip waffle in hopes of cheering up and heads back out into the dusk lit street.
